Aircraft Leasing, Trading, and Asset Management
Assets Strategy Overview
Heston Aviation invests into mid-life Boeing 737 and Airbus 320 families of aircraft, their engines, and key components. We deliver value through structuring innovative operating leases and maximizing end-of-lease returns of these assets.
We are not a typical aircraft leasing company. All projects are done on Heston Aviation own balance sheet, thus reducing complexity and adding speed to all transactions that we do. We like technically challenging projects, where we can add value through know how, fast decision making, and disciplined execution.
Sample Projects Completed
Boeing 737 800, MSN 28610
Heston Aviation purchased B737 800, MSN 28610 from a bank, which grounded the aircraft after bankruptcy of its original lessee. Investment was monetized by trading engines to a Japanese-backed global asset player and selling the airframe directly to a European airline for further operations.
Boeing 737 800, MSN 27981
Heston Aviation purchased B737 800 from a global leasing company through novation of existing operating stub lease with a leading Turkish airline. Heston Aviation team managed the complex redelivery process from existing operator, then monetized the investment through selling engines to a European airline and airframe to a part-out company.
Airbus 320 200, MSN 1183
Heston Aviation acquired A320 200, MSN 1183 from a global leasing company upon its redelivery from Scandinavian operator. After a short transition, the aircraft was leased out on a long term operating lease to a European ACMI operator. Subsequently, the asset was sold with lease attached to a US based financial investor.
Airbus 320 200, MSN 3902
Heston Aviation acquired A320 200, MSN 3902, from a top tier aircraft leasing company, following its operations at a Middle Eastern flag carrier. The aircraft was put on long term lease to a Vietnamese operator.
